Vanaf de oprichting in 1992, is ZWEVA uitgegroeid tot een pioneer in het ontwikkelen van specifieke producten van plastic. ZWEVA heeft zich geconcentreerd op het ontwikkelen van hun gepatenteerde TwinWall Technology, wat momenteel de basis is voor de meest uitgebrachte producten.

Het is deze technologie die gebruikt is in de ontwikkeling van het Z-programma voor ondergrondsche handholes. Deze handholes worden in Europa door de meeste telecombedrijven en carriers toegepast bij de bouw van hun netwerken.
